Festival

Friday, in honor of no school and a free childs admission coupon, we headed over to the scarecrow festival at the Point. It's an awesome place, one which we don't frequent near as much as we ought to. In fact, we have yet to visit the dinosaur museum. That is rapidly getting bumped up on our list of "have-to's."

This little festival was perfect however. The buglet found a little boy (those are her favorite) to hang around and the two of them climed all the bouncy-castle-slide things to their hearts content. There were games, pony and wagon rides, pumpkins, and food. We only saw about a third of the festival (the line for pony rides was almost an hour...) but we had a great time. Espcially wandering farm country. It is such a charming place. I found myself looking out at the sunset and thinking "I could live out here and be perfectly happy." We'll see what time brings on that front, shall we?
