Last Friday we (me, JD, ARB) headed out to begin a weeks adventure to Cali. It was spring break for us and also spring break for JD's little one, so we determined to share the love and spend some much needed time with his little bug. She then got to come home with us to spend a couple more weeks with her dad. Awe.some. First order of business; driving.
We broke the drive up into segments - half one day and half the next. We stayed Friday night with my Aunt & Uncle in St. George and it was really nice. I had never seen their new house and they had never met my soon-to-be-official other half, so it was a win/win situation for all. Aeryn had a blast with her unofficial grandparents and we got the trip off to a grand start.
Armed with snacks, a Nintendo DS, and some killer music on the old ipod, we were set. Though really, we only needed the music to have a grand old time on the drive.
With vocals like that, what's not to love?
