but since i don't exactly post notes and things to my facebook page, i'll reply to the request here. here goes.

25 random things about me

1. i have a small love affair with fleece sheets
2. i've never broken a bone - only fractured a tailbone, which i think may be the worst feeling in the world
3. my current dream vacations are all unattainable: morocco, easter island, madagascar, iceland
   
4. my first quilt was pieced in just a couple weeks but has sat untouched waiting for borders and backing for the last 12 years
5. i neurotically love a clean kitchen, but never have one because i more neurotically love making messes in it
   
6. i'm voluntarily allergic to mustard
   
7. my first filling at the dentist happened at age 32
8. speaking of teeth, i lost my first tooth (teeth, actually) falling off my bike face first onto the asphalt - with my mouth open
9. i don't have a favorite color
10. after spending 4 years desperately trying to get out of public schools (and a long hiatus), i have now spent the last 3 trying to get in there again
11. i really dislike buying cars and plan to keep the one i have until it's on it's way to the grave
12. when i'm stressed i paint a wall
13. in the absence of walls to paint (i.e. now) i bake something
14. i have a weird ability to take any given situation and make it emotional, sappy, and/or spiritual
    
15. the first album i ever bought was Madonna's self titled cassette - and it was from BMG
16. i spent a good chunk of years wishing i knew how to "speak up" and be "assertive" just to now wish i knew how to hush up and listen better
17. my cherished gingerbread macadamia nut biscoti is sitting untouched in the cabinet because i am so afraid of running out that i don't want to eat it
18. i lived in the same house all through school K-12
19. i lose my phone a couple times a week, even though it looks like green and blue peacock feathers and doesn't match anything i own
20. i really really love back scratches. deep, scratchy back scratches
21. i want to be martha stewart, without the criminal record of course
22. i'm the connect four mAstEr
23. i love the sadly fading tradition of handwritten notecards
24. breakfast is my favorite food
25. i get indescribably anxious when put on the spot and blush so extremely it can be seen in nepal
