phone fiasco

I think some of us are destined to be "off the grid." I have a phone that I love and it is frustrating me to no end. The thing died, was sent to repair, I got it back, and less than 48 hours later it completely died again. Not before letting me get totally addicted to my mobile data plan and GPS. What can I say, I'm slow to jump on the bandwagon. Now I'm completely unable, once again, to contact my peeps. Argh.

What phones have you had great luck with? I may be making a transition.
